Privacy Policy for Super Screen Capture

Last updated: August 25, 2026

Super Screen Capture is a Chrome extension designed to capture screenshots of web pages.

1. Data Collection

Super Screen Capture does not collect, sell, or transmit personal information to external servers.

2. Screenshot Data

Captured screenshots are processed locally within the user's browser. Screenshots are temporarily stored using Chrome's local storage so they can be displayed in the result viewer. Because full-page screenshots can be large, Super Screen Capture may use Chrome's extended local storage capacity to temporarily store the captured image. This storage is used locally in the user's browser and is not used to transmit the screenshot to an external server.

3. Data Transmission

Super Screen Capture does not upload captured screenshots or webpage content to an external server.

4. Downloads

When the user chooses to save a screenshot, the extension uses Chrome's download functionality to save the selected image format to the user's device.

5. Third-Party Services

Super Screen Capture does not require an external server or third-party analytics service to provide its core screenshot functionality.

6. Permissions

The extension requests browser permissions required to identify the active tab, execute the screenshot content script, capture visible tab content, store captured images locally, and save exported screenshots.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This privacy policy may be updated when the extension's functionality changes.
